Two huge names in boxing are looking for a new promoter.
According to a report by DailyStar, Jack Catterall & Sunny Edwards are reportedly in talks to sign with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing and to fight on the DAZN streaming platform.
The current IBF flyweight champion Sunny Edwards is on the lookout for a new promoter after the collapse of his previous promoter, Probellum. On the other hand, Jack Catterall is simply out of his contract with Sky Sports & Boxxer.
Jack Catterall faced the first defeat of his career when he controversially lost against Josh Taylor in February 2022 in an attempt to become the undisputed light-welterweight champion.
Meanwhile, Sunny Edwards is coming off a unanimous decision win against Felix Alvarado. He is still undefeated and won all 19 bouts so far.
There is a possibility that Matchroom Sport or Eddie Hearn announced both of these signings in the upcoming days.
