Derek Chisora vs Kubrat Pulev II Official for July 9 in London
Derek Chisora vs Kubrat Pulev rematch has been officially set to take place on July 9 and it will headline a Matchroom Boxing event in London.
Matchroom Boxing announced the news by sharing a tweet. The tweet revealed that the rematch would take place at the O2 Arena in London on July 9. General tickets for this event will go on sale from June 9.
Chisora and Pulev first collided back in 2016 when Pulev managed to win the bout via split decision. Hence, now Chisora must have vengeance in his mind.
Kubra Pulev’s most recent loss came against Anthony Joshua back in December 2020. He managed to rebound from this loss by registering a unanimous decision victory against Jerry Forest earlier this year in May.
On the other hand, Derek Chisora is on a three-fight losing streak. He first lost against Oleksandr Usyk and then he lost two back-to-back matches against Joseph Parker.
As a result, Chisora must be looking forward to getting back on the winning track and getting his revenge at the same time on July 9 in the main event of the Matchroom Boxing event.
