Danny Garcia and Jose Benavidez Jr. will take part in a weigh-in event on July 29, 2022, to make their Welterweight fight official.
Both former Welterweight World champions are returning to the ring after a gap and it will be interesting to see if they will be able to make the weight easily. Garcia is returning for the first since losing WBC & IBF titles to Errol Spence Jr. in December 2020 while Benavidez is inactive since December last year.
Apart from this, Adam Kownacki will be weighing in for his fight against Ali Eren Demirezen as he looks to turn around his two back-to-back losses. Both Kownacki and his opponent, Ali Eren Demirezen have not weighed more than 266 lbs in their career so far.
