Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin will meet in a trilogy bout on September 17, 2022. One of the most anticipated bouts of the year will take place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV.

The pair have clashed twice before for Golovkin’s unified Middleweight titles and both times, the result has been controversial. The first bout in September 2017 ended in a split draw while Canelo was able to get a majority decision in his favour in the second bout in September 2018.

This time, Canelo’s undisputed Super Middleweight Championship will be on the line. Canelo has suffered a setback in his last bout as he lost to WBA(super) Light Heavyweight Champion Dmitry Bivol. Golovkin has won his last four bouts since that loss to Canelo and has won IBF, IBO and WBA(super) Middleweight titles again. Will he be able to upset Canelo this time around?

In the co-main event, Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez will look to continue his great 2022 as he defends WBC Bantamweight title for the second time this year. He will be facing Israel Gonzalez, who will be competing for the world title for the fourth time. Further, on the undercard, Diego Pacheco will compete for WBC Silver North American super middleweight title against Enrique Collazo. Ali Akhmedov vs Gabriel Rosado, Austin Williams vs Kieron Conway bout are also on the undercard.
