Joshua Buatsi vs Craig Richards: Results, Card, Start Time

Joshua Buatsi and Craig Richards will headline a Matchroom Boxing & Dazn Streaming event in London on May 21, 2022. The event will air from O2 Arena in London.

Both men are looking to make their rapport as a world title challenger. Buatsi remains undefeated in his pro career but has switched to light heavyweight recently. He last defeated Ricards Bolotniks via TKO in round 11 in August 2021. Craig Richards lost to Dmitry Bivol in May 2021 and has defeated Marek Matyja in October 2021 via TKO in the sixth round.

Richards and Buatsi faced off in an amateur career back in 2014 when Buatsi came on top. Will the same thing be repeated in the pro bout also? It might not be as straightforward for Buatsi though.

In the co-main event, Chantelle Cameron faces Victoria Noelia Bustos for WBC & IBF Super-Lightweight titles. Also on the main card, Alen Babic takes on Adam Balski in a heavyweight bout. Robbie Davies Jr will face Javier Molina for the WBA Continental Super Lightweight title. Ellie Scotney will open the main card against Maria Cecilia Roman for the WBA Intercontinental Women’s Super Bantamweight title.
