Rumor: Braun Strowman has an important role at MITB

Braun Strowman is expected to perform an important role at MITB 2019.

This week at RAW, Braun Strowman lost his spot to Sami Zayn at Money in the Bank Ladder match after he lost the match against him with interferences from Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin. While the initial reactions towards the switch were that Strowman might feature in a storyline with the winner of the briefcase, now it seems that he will play a very important role at the match itself.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that while Strowman isn’t in the match, it is expected that he will have a say in who will win the briefcase.

Since Strowman isn’t on the show, he would be expected to get involved and play a part in the winner, which in theory would best be served for Ricochet.

On Tuesday Dave Meltzer also reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Strowman is currently working with a minor arm injury but it is not that significant to take some time off.

The thing is – the Braun Strowman being taken out of the match is part of a longer story that will play out… He’s hurt – he’s clearly hurt, but he’s not hurt enough to be taking time off. That’s not why he’s not in the match, no.
