Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch were part of the Mixed Tag Team Winner Take All match against Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans with both Universal Championship and RAW Women’s Championship on the line. The match defied expectations surely with the competitors using the extreme rules stipulation to a good effect. Both pair worked well in tandem to give us a good match.

The end came when Rollins got infuriated due to Corbin hitting End of Days on Becky. Rollins went on to unload on Corbin with chairs and sticks and hit back to back stomps to win the match. However, the swerve was about to come when Brock Lesnar’s music hit as soon as the match was over.

Lesnar came to the ring and hit the German Suplex as Rollins charged at him. Paul Heyman handed the briefcase to the referee and it was announced that Lesnar was cashing in the MITB contract. He hit the F5 after the bell and covered Rollins easily to win the Universal title. Lesnar has now become the 3 times Universal Champion and the only one to do so.

Brock Lesnar won the Money in the Bank Ladder match at the namesake show in May. He tried to cash in the contract at Super ShowDown last month but Rollins battered him even before he could cash-in. Lesnar’s advocate, Paul Heyman, cut a promo on RAW last week and then again at Extreme Rules that Lesnar might cash in the contract at the show.
