Bayley vs Charlotte Flair Announced for Clash of Champions
WWE has confirmed that Bayley will be defending the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair at WWE Clash of Champions 2019 show.
This week at SmackDown, Charlotte Flair was the guest at A Moment of Bliss. Flair revisited her victory over Trish Stratus at SummerSlam. She told us that she took the torch from Stratus and has indeed become the Queen of All Eras. She also pointed out that despite Bayley being the champion, she still is the face of SmackDown Women’s division.
This brought out Bayley who told Flair to stop with the bragging and insults. Charlotte then went on to told Bayley that she has de-valued the title and now she has to clean up her mess when she would beat her at Clash of Champions. Bayley went on to accept her challenge and also rudely(and comically) pushed Charlotte from her chair. Now, WWE has confirmed that Bayley will indeed defend the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair at Clash of Champions this year.
This will be Bayley’s fourth title defense after she successfully came on top against the likes of Alexa Bliss at Stomping Grounds, Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross(in a handicapped match) at Extreme Rules and then against Ember Moon at SummerSlam. Bayley originally won the title from Charlotte at Money in the Bank in May this year.
