WWE is looking appease the disgruntled Sasha Banks by giving her a big win at their next PPV event that is Money in the Banks on 19 May.
As it has become well known that Sasha Banks has been away from WWE after asking for release from WWE when she lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team title. She was given a couple of week’s time think about her decision and it seems WWE is also trying to do some damage control from their side.
Brad Shepard reported at Pro Sports Extra that Sasha is expected to be back before Money in the Bank and there are already initial discussions about booking her to win the Money In The Bank Briefcase. As the briefcase guarantees the chance to challenge a champion, it can be considered a big win for Sasha.
Currently, Becky Lynch is holding both RAW and SmackDown Women’s Championships and Becky has already called out Sasha to face her over Twitter. It remains to be seen if the lollypop of MITB Briefcase would be enough for Sasha to continue with the company.
Earlier in the week, it was also reported that Sasha and Bayley were earlier told that they will be defending their titles at Saudi Arabia event against Natalya and Beth Pheonix which would have become the first women’s match at Saudi. Also, it would have meant that their championship reign would have continued until June.
On the other hand, Brad Shepard also reported that the decision for them to drop was made well in advance and some people already knew this in the company. However, they were told about this on the day of WrestleMania itself.
