Young Bucks invade AAW to challenge Lucha Bros

The Young Bucks interfered while Lucha Bros were defending their AAW Tag Team titles which led to them losing the match. Young Bucks later challenged Lucha Bros for the match at AEW’s Double or Nothing which was accepted immediately.

Lucha Bros, Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix were defending their AAW Tag Team Title at AAW’s show in Chicago last night in a three-way Tag Team Match against LAX-Ortiz and Santana and the team of AR Fox and Myron Reed. During the same match, as the referee was down, lights went out for a while and Young Bucks appeared in the ring. After hitting superkicks on Lucha Bros, Bucks went on to hit Pentagon with a package piledriver and Fenix with a Meltzer Driver. LAX then took advantage of the opportunity to hit their double-team finisher and won the match and the title.

After the match, Young Bucks challenged Lucha Bros for the match at AEW’s Double or Nothing which was accepted by Rey Fenix. The bucks again hit the Luchas with superkicks and left the ring. This segment came after the Lucha Bros laid out similar treatment to the Young Bucks at AEW’s Ticket Announcement Party earlier in the month. This will be the seventh confirmed match for the Double or Nothing event after the announcement of Over Budget Battle Royal last week.
