Welcome to the ITN’s live results blog for the WWE Friday Night Smackdown episode of November 19, 2021 (11/19/2021), airing from XL Center, Hartford, CT, US.
This will be the go-home edition of SmackDown for Survivor Series 2021 PPV. WWE has announced only one match for the show till now, which is Sasha Banks vs Shotzi Blackheart. Both women are part of SmackDown’s Survivor Series team for women 5-on-5 elimination match.
We can also expect some fireworks between WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and WWE Champion Big E. These champions are going to the main event Survivor Series this year. We can also expect some intruders from RAW in the final build-up to Survivor Series.

- Sheamus defeated Ricochet vs Jinder Mahal vs Cesaro in a Fatal 4-way match via pinfall to be added to SmackDown’s Survivor Series Team.
- Natalya & Shayna Baszler defeated Naomi & Aliyah in a tag team match via pinfall.
- Jeff Hardy defeated Madcap Moss in a singles match via pinfall.
- Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Angel in a singles match via pinfall.

Roman Reigns Smashes Props
The ring is set with the throne, crown, sceptre and cape which Xavier Woods had until last week. The Usos are in the ring and they hype Roman Reigns before bringing him out. Roman makes his entrance with Paul Heyman. Heyman says he is shaking in emotions since the preparations were on for a week. Heyman goes on to praise Roman and says Xavier Woods does not deserve this, neither does Brock Lesnar nor Big E.
Roman takes the mic and asks whose idea was this. Roman says he does not care about all this, he does not need all these props and shouts at the crowd to acknowledge him. Xavier Woods comes out to the ramp and asks him to meet him in the ring without the Usos so that he could show him how the real king works. Roman asks him if he does not care about all the stuff in the ring. When Woods says those things do not matter for him, Roman instructs The Usos to destroy the cape, sceptre and throne.
Roman takes the crown in his hand and Woods hits the ring. The Bloodline beats up Woods before Roman smashed the crown under his foot while The Usos restrain Woods. Roman’s music hits as the segment comes to an end.
After the break, Xavier Woods is backstage and he is selling ribs injury when Kayla Braxton comes to him. Woods says he will go to the ring tonight to face Roman and while Roman Empire was not built in a day, it will fall tonight.
Sheamus vs Ricochet vs Jinder Mahal vs Cesaro – Fatal 4-way match for Survivor Series Team
Sheamus brings down Ricochet while Cesaro beats up Jinder Mahal in the other corner. Sheamus runs over Cesaro after a brief staredown. Mahal and Sheamus work together to throw Cesaro to the floor. Mahal sets up Ricochet on the ropes for Sheamus to hit his signature blows to the chest. Mahal goes to roll up Sheamus for a two-count.
Sheamus hits hammerblows to his chest on the apron and throws him to the floor. Cesaro tries to put him in the swing but Sheamus resists. Cesaro manages to send him to the floor. Ricochet comes in and sends Cesaro to the floor with headscissors. He hits a suicide dive to all three opponents as we cut to the break.
Cesaro puts on the sharpshooter. Ricochet hits kicks at Cesaro’s chest to break the lock. Mahal goes for the Khallas but Ricochet counters and hits a kick to his chest. Ricochet hits a 630-splash on Mahal. Sheamus hits Brogue kick on Ricochet and tries to take the pin on Mahal. Cesaro breaks it and nails a big uppercut to Sheamus. Ridge Holland runs interference and Sheamus takes advantage with a Brogue kick on Cesaro to get the pin.
Winner – Sheamus
After the match, Sheamus and Holland hug and celebrate in the ring before heading to the back.
Jeff Hardy is backstage with Kayla Braxton. Hardy says he has been in the ring with many stars, but he has never been in the ring with someone likes Drew McIntyre. He also praises other teammates when Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss come to them. Moss tells a joke on Jeff Hardy before Adam Pearce rolls up. He sets up a match between Moss and Hardy.
Holland and Sheamus are backstage when they are asked for an interview. Sheamus is pumped at the fact that he is Holland’s inspiration to come into this business. Holland says if it was not for Sheamus, he would still be in England doing other things.
Natalya & Shayna Baszler vs Aliyah & Naomi
Natalya starts with a punch to Aliyah. Aliyah brings her down and then hits a dropkick. She hits Natalya with headscissors before Noami and Shayna tag in. Naomi avoids Kirafuda clutch before Natalya tags in. Shayna is sent to the floor by Naomi. Natalya brings her down and the referee does a fast count to end the match.
Winners – Natalya & Shayna Baszler
The referee leaves the ring in a hurry as Natalya and Baszler celebrate their win. Naomi and Aliyah are complaining.
Sonya Deville is backstage where Sami Zayn is complaining about being removed from Survivor Series team. She puts Sami in 25 Men Battle Royal which is organized in honor of The Rock’s WWE Debut 25th Anniversary. The referee who did the fast count comes to Sonya and asks her who she did. Sonya pretends like she does not even know her.
Jeff Hardy vs Madcap Moss
We cut to the ring where Madcapp Moss & Happy Corbin make their entrance. Jeff Hardy was already in the ring. Hardy says it would only be fair if he has someone in his corner. He brings out Drew McIntyre.
Moss starts with a takedown and hits Hardy with knees to the midsection. Moss drops Hardy with a big punch. Hardy hits a dropkick and double leg takedown before a leg drop. Hardy goes to the top but Corbin tries to run an inteference but Drew brings him down. Moss brings Hardy down but Hardy rolls him up in an inside cradle for the pin.
Winners – Natalya & Shayna Baszler
Drew hits Claymore to Corbin after the match and then Hardy hits Moss with the Swanton bomb. Hardy and Drew celebrate in the ring.
Paul Heyman was on the phone backstage when he gets startled by Kayla Braxton. Kayla asks him about the challenge from Xavior Woods for Roman. Heyman says he is tired of people saying Roman Reigns needs The Usos around him because he doesn’t. Heyman says Woods’ challenge is accepted and walks off.
Shinsuke Nakamura vs Angel
Humberto runs a distraction for Angel to take advantage. Nakamura fights back with knees. Angel ducks a kick but Nakamura nails him with another kick. Nakamura unloads in the corner. Angel catches him mid air as he comes off the second rope. Angel misses a baseball slide after knocking Nakamura off the apron.
Nakamura brings him back to the ring but Humberto holds Nakamura’s leg. Boogs attacks Humberto ringside and slams him down on the floor. Nakamura counters Angel and hits the Kinshasa for the pin and the win.
Winners – Shinsuke Nakamura
After the match, Humberto attacks Nakamura from behind with a cheap shot and runs away with Angel. Boogs and Nakamura yell at them from the ring.
