WWE Rumor Roundup- Payback Matches, Retribution, ThunderDome & More

More Payback Matches

WWE Payback 2020 PPV is taking place this Sunday and if rumors are to be believed, the match card will add at least 4 more matches to it. Yesterday we reported about 2 possible matchesKing Corbin vs Matt Riddle & Intercontinental Championship rematch between Jeff Hardy and AJ Styles.

Another set of matches were saved for Payback 2020 PPV coming out of SummerSlam. Kevin Owens and Aleister Black did an angle on Monday. This will lead to their encounter on Payback. From SmackDown’s side, Big E vs Sheamus is also speculated to be added to the card.

Changes to WWE Thunderdome

Bryan Alvarez from Wrestling Observer Live has been told that WWE is going to change things in regards to how they display fans in the ThunderDome. Many fans, who were on screen behind the ring, took the opportunity to show obscene pictures and start some agendas.

Now, WWE is changing their approach in regards to the order in which fans will be screened behind the wrestlers. The company will try to put fans they trust in better seats. Meaning, if there are some fans who attended prior ThunderDome presentation and behaved well, they have more chance of being shown in the first row.

Who are Retribution Members?

Retribution, WWE’s newest stable, has been making their presence felt for some weeks now. But there is still no clarity over which wrestlers exactly form the Retribution. And this is going to continue for a while as WWE themselves do not have any clue regarding it.

Ringside News reports that nothing is decided upon in terms of the Retribution members. Their sources in WWE told them, “we’re winging it,” and Vince McMahon “did this on a whim.” Vince McMahon is still contemplating on which NXT stars to put in Retribution.
