WWE NXT Results August 2, 2022, Live Updates
WWE NXT will be airing another episode on August 2, 2022, and we will be here with all the results from the show. NXT Champion Bron Breakker and JD McDonagh will sit down for the Heatwave summit.
Four matches are announced in advance including men and women Tag Team Championship matches. A fatal 4-way match will crown new champions. Tony D’Angelo and Lorenzo Channing will challenge The Creed Brothers for the NXT Tag Team titles.
Mandy Rose will face Sarray in a singles match while Solo Sikoa and Von Wagner will clash in a Falls Count Anywhere match. Tune in as we bring you the results from WWE NXT 2.0 August 2, 2022 episode with live updates, winners, highlights, videos and more.

Katana Chance & Kayden Carter vs Toxic Attraction(Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne) vs Yulisa Leon & Valentina Feroz vs Ivy Nile & Tatum Paxley – 4-way Elimination match for NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship
Paxley and Carter start with lock up. Carter is pushed towards Toxic Attraction and Jayne tags in. Jayne drops Paxley and brings in Dolin. Paxley hits Dolin with a dropkick. Nile comes in for some double team. Dolin kicks away Paxley and tags in Carter. Paxley tags in Feroz. Feroz takes down Carter and tags in Leon. Leon and Feroz knocks off Toxic as they try to interfere. Carter nails Feroz with a superkick. Carter and Chance fight Nile and Paxley on the floor. Feroz throws Feroz on four of them and then hit them with a suicide dive. Feroz and Leon hit an assisted suplex. Paxley throws Feroz out and tags in Ivy. Ivy hits a side slam on Leon and pins him to eliminate their team.
Dolin tries to catch Nile with a roll-up to get a two-count. Nile and Paxley continue to fight both teams for a while. Nile hits a springboard kick on Chance. Chance counters as Paxley comes in. Some double team work from Chance and Carter leads to Paxley being taken down. Jayce sneaks in a tag and pins Paxley to eliminate her team.
Both remaining team start to brawl in the middle. Toxic get upper hand and hit both opponents with a hip attack and a cannonball in the corner. They continue to work on Carter for a while. Carter fights back and a dropkick and a moonsault almost get her a pin over Dolin. Back and forth action continues between these two teams. Chance and Jayne trade shots in the middle now. Chance tags in Carter but Dolin saves Jayne from a double-team move. Carter fights with Dolin to the floor and brings her down. Carter hits a kick on Jayne from outside behind the referee’s back. Chance holds Jayne while Carter hits her with a 450-splash to get the pin.
Winner – Katana Chance & Kayden Carter
Joe Gacy interrupts Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs with The Dyads by his side. They end up making a singles match between Jensen and Gacy later tonight.
NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams are in the ring. Hayes calls out for an open challenge and says he will face anyone who gets into the ring first. Giovanni Vinci comes out but Nathan Frazer runs past him and into the ring. It will be Hayes vs Frazer. Vinci is going to sit on the commentary now.
Carmelo Hayes(c) vs Nathan Frazer – NXT North American Championship
Back and forth start to the match and they come to stalemate with some quick moves from Frazer. Frazer hits a dropkick after they run the ropes a few times. Frazer pulls Hayes’s groin into the ringpost. Hayes catches Frazer on the ropes with a knee and then hits a springboard leg drop to get a near fall. Frazer comes back with a jawbreaker. Hayes hits him with a springboard flying clothesline to get another close two-count.
Frazer pulls Hayes and sends him into the turnbuckles. Frazer now nails Hayes with punches. Some running forearms follow. Frazer misses a moonsault from the top but nails Hayes with a superkick to get a close two-count. A suicide dive from Frazer sends Hayes into the announce table where Vinci was sitting. Williams distracts the referee and Vince pushes Frazer from the top turnbuckle. Hayes hits a leg drop from the top to get the pin.
Winner – Carmelo Hayes
NXT North American Champion Bron Breakker and JD McDonagh are in the ring for Heatwave summit with Wade Barrett. JD does not talk about the past few weeks and only wants to look forward to NXT Heatwave. He admits that he has never faced anyone like Breakker but he is not afraid of Breakker but he acts as a stiumulant for him. Breakker says JD is smarter than Ziggler, Ciampa or Grimes as he is targetting his mind. Barrett brings up that they have to get the contracts signed. He puts the contract in front of JD. JD says he sees some apprehension in Breakker’s eyes and wants him to sign first. Breakker is happy to sign the contract first. JD gets the contract now and he cuts his finger to sign it to show how serious he is.
Apollo Crews goes and meet The Creed Brothers in Diamond Mine gym. Crews tells them to keep their eyes open and kiss some a**. Crews leaves and Damon Kemp comes in. Kemp informs the Creed Brothers that Roderick Strong is running late, but he will be there for the match.
Toxic Attraction’s Dolin and Jayne are delirious over losing women’s tag team title match. Rose comes in and she is also angry, saying that Carter and Chance cheated. They turn away and even threaten McKenzie Mitchell as she comes in for an interview. Rose makes her entrance for the match against Sarray.
Mandy Rose vs Sarray
Rose is in control over Sarray as we return. Sarray counters with a sunset flip and htis a dropkick. Rose goes to the floor to avoid more attack. Rose pulls Sarray into the ropes and gets a two-count. Rose stomps in the corner. Sarray rolls up Rose for a two-count. Rose slams her face first to the mat for a two-count. Sarray hits another dropkick to Rose. She hits an armdrag and a drop toe hold. Sarray hits a missile dropkick and a suplex to get a close two-count. Rose hits a spinebuster to get a two-count. Rose hits the running knee and gets the pin.
Winner – Mandy Rose
Rose fires are warning for Zoey Stark. Rose then brings in a steel chair and attacks Sarray with it. Stark runs out and attacks Rose. She nails Rose with a superkick and Rose runs away.
We get a video package for Tiffany Stratton showing off her athleticism.
Axiom is interviewed backstage and is excited to be in NXT. Duke Hudson comes in and says he is undersized and undeserving. Axiom says he is not afraid of Hudson. Hudson smacks him and goes on to beat him down. They continue to brawl with Hudson mainly beating up Axiom. They reach the ringside and Hudson slams Axiom into the apron. He throws him into the ring and hits him with spinning Urinage. Hudson takes the mic again and says that is why we should not believe in our heroes as they always let us down. Hudson was leaving when Axiom takes the mic and calls for a match right away.
Duke Hudson vs Axiom
Hudson picks Axiom up and puts him in the corner as the bell rings. Hudson puts Axiom to the top turnbuckle and knocks him off to the floor with a kick. Axiom hits some calf kicks and a dropkick on the calf. Hudson hits an Urinage from the corner. He hits punches and elbow drops, followed by ax handles. Axiom counters the Razor’s Edge with a hurricanrana. Axiom rolls up Hudson to get a pin.
Winner – Axiom
Wes Lee is interviewed backstage and wonders why Trick Williams thinks himself as Muhammad Ali. He calls for a match next week.
The Creed Brothers(Julius Creed & Brutus Creed)(c) vs Tony D’Angelo & Channing Lorenzo – WWE NXT Tag Team Match
Julius and Tony start but Tony quickly brings in Lorenzo. Julius takes him to his corner and tags in Brutus who drops Lorenzo a few times. Lorenzo hits a kick to midsection but then gets hit with a spinebuster. Julius tags in and Tony comes in after a while. Tony hits a kick to knees, big punches and a suplex to take us to a break.
Julius kicks away Lorenzo and tags in Brutus. Brutus drops Lorenzo who slips to the floor. Lorenzo turns it around by catching Brutus on the ropes. He slams Brutus’ hand on the steel steps. Tony and Lorenzo work on Brutus’ hands. Tony hits a hammerlock suplex on Brutus. Lorenzo puts him to the mat now and goes for some joint manipulation. Brutus nails him with punches but Lorenzo hits him with a chop block to bring himdown. Brutus hits a boot as Lorenzo jumps from the top.
Julius and Tony get the tags. Julius hits a body slam on Tony. He brings in Lorenzo and slams him. Julius hits clotheslines, German suplex and a dropkick. Tony hits him with a back elbow. Both hit each other with dropkick at the same time. Lorenzo pulls down Brutus to top the tag. Elektra Lopez pushes in a crowbar into the ring. He was going to use it but Santos Escobar has returned to hit Tony with the crowbar. Julius hits a driver and a clothesline to get the pin on Tony.

The Creed Brothers celebrate in the ring with Damon Kemp. Santos Escobar pose on the ramp with Legado Del Fantasma.
Roxanne Perez narrates her story and how Cora Jade has betrayed her. Perez challenges for a match at NXT Heatwave. Cora Jade is being interviewed and says she has no reason to face Perez. Mandy Rose comes in and tells Jade that if takes out Zoey Stark, she would get the title shot instead of Stark at Heatwave.
Katana Chance and Kayden Carter are interviewed backstage and get emotional over winning the tag team titles finally.
Brooks Jensen vs Joe Gacy
Jensen hits corner clotheslines after initial lock up. Jensen nails him some jabs. He hits a drive-by dropkikc. Gacy hits a DDT to come back into the match. Gacy hits chops in the corner. They trade more ugly looking shots. Gacy hits a clothesline in the corner before a sliding elblow shot. He hits an Urinage to get a two-count. Jensen comes back with an spinning kick. The Dyad distract Briggs and Henley on the floor. Pretty Deadly try to attack Jensen, but he deals with them. Gacy drops Jensen with a big lariat to get the pin.
Winner – Joe Gacy
After the match, Gacy sends a message for Cameron Grimes whose life has been full of disappointments as her Gacy. Grimes was watching this from backstage and he walks off.
Alba Fyre vs Lash Legends
The match has already started as we return from the break. Legends slams Fyre in the corner. Legends puts on bow and arrow stretch for a while. Legends next hits a double underhook suplex. Fyre slams her to the corner and hits a DDT off the ropes. Fyre goes to the top. Legends meets here there. Fyre hits a knee to knock her off to the mat again. Legends avoids a double stomp from the top. Fyre hits back to back superkicks after Legends tries to use a bat. Fyre hits Gory Bomb and Swanton bomb to get the pin.
Winner – Alba Fyre
Solo Sikoa vs Von Wagner – Falls Count Anywhere match
Solo starts with chops and a clothesline. He hits a senton on the floor to get a two-count. Wagner trades punches before they get back to the ring. Sikoa hits a big punch before a corner splash. He drops Wagner to the mat a couple of times to get a two-count. Kicks in the corner follows. Wagner goes to the floor and sends Sikoa into the apron and into the steel steps. Wagner brings in steel steps and chairs into the ring. He hits slams chairs on Sikoa’s back.
Wagner hits a side slam on a chair before more chair shots at the back. Wagner sets up a couple of chairs in the middle and drops Sikoa on them. Wagner runs over Sikoa on the floor. He clears the announce table now. Sikoa drops him on the announce table with a Samoan drop. Sikoa now brawls to backstage. They reach the parking lot where Hayes and Williams were wit hsome ladies. Wagner slams Sikoa into a container and then drops him into a dumpster. Sikoa recovers and fights back. He hits a few knees before slamming Wagner against a shutter.
Wagner drops him through a table. Wagner continue to beat up his opponent. Sikoa stops a chair shot by spraying on Wagner with a fire extinguisher. Sikoa hits some punches and clotheslines. He takes the chair and slams it on Wagner’s back a few times. Sikoa sets up the steel step in the middle of the ring and hits a Samoan drop on it. Wagner kicks out of the pin. Sikoa goes to the top but Robert Stone grabs his leg. Sikoa drops Stone with a headbutt. Wagner takes advantage and knocks down Sikoa with a headbutt. Sikoa hits back with a superkick. He puts Wagner on the announce table and hits a frog splash from the top turnbuckle to get the pin.
