Warrior Wrestling Announces NJPW Partnership for “The Dojo Showcase”
Warrior Wrestling announced today, via a press release, a partnership with New Japan Pro-Wrestling to present “The Dojo Showcase” on their upcoming shows.
The press release informed that New Japan Strong will present the Dojo Showcase in the next three shows from Warrior Wrestling, one each in April, May and June. New Japan Strong will present a match on each of these shows which will highlight competitors who “graduated” from New Japan’s LA Dajo under Katsuyori Shibata.
The first match under this showcase is announced between Karl Fredericks and Clark Connors for Warrior Wrestling 21 event on April 23, 2022. The show will air from Bendix Arena in South Bend, Indiana. Tickets are on sale now.
Warrior Wrestling also announced NJPW’s Will Ospreay defending Warrior Wrestling Championship at the event against Blake Christian. Swerve Strickland vs Adam Brooks match is also confirmed for the show. Thunder Rosa, Sam Adonis, Dante Martin, Darius Martin, Brian Cage, KC Navarro, Aramis and Athena are also advertised.
The other events will take place on May 28 in St. Louis, MO, and on June 18 in Grand Rapids, MI. Warrior Wrestling will present the Stadium Series event starting on July 23, 2022.
