The Miz attacked Logan Paul after Defeating The Mysterios at WrestleMania 38
The Miz and Logan Paul came out victorious against Rey Mysterion and Dominik Mysterio at WWE WrestleMania 38 Night 1.
Rey Mysterio started off the match against The Miz. Soon, Logan Paul entered the match and attacked Rey Mysterio’s ribs.
Later, Dominik was tagged in the match, but he failed to continue his momentum and was dominated by the Miz and Logan Paul.
After that, he gave a hot tag to Rey Mysterio who took control of the match again. Rey Mysterio tried to hit three amigos to the Miz but the third one was stopped by the latter.
However, Logan Paul successfully hit three amigos to Rey Mysterio which was followed by a frog splash. Later, both Dominik and Rey Mysterio hit Logan Paul with double 619 and frog splash but the Miz broke the pinfall. He then hit Rey Mysterio with the Skull Crushing Finale to get the pinfall.
After the match, The Miz attacked his tag-team partner Logan Paul. He hit Logan Paul with the Skull Crushing Finale.
Dominik Mysterio and his father Rey Mysterio appeared as guests on the Miz TV a week after the Miz defeated Dominik in a singles match. The Miz taunted Rey Mysterio and questioned him if he is really the father of Dominik. It was a reference to his match against Eddie Guerrero back at SummerSlam 2005 which was for the custody of Dominik.
At the Elimination Chamber kick-off, Rey defeated the Miz in a singles match and later accused him of cheating. Hence, the Miz found himself a tag-team partner in the form of Logan Paul, and a tag-team match was set up between them for the Showcase of the Immortals.
