Extreme Rules 2019: Bayley Retains SmackDown Women’s Title
Bayley has managed to come top against Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross in the 2-on-1 handicapped match to retain the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship at Extreme Rules 2019.
ayley dodges a clothesline and hits a belly to back suplex to start the match. Bayley hits Alexa with an arm twist. Alexa tags in Nikki who hits her with a headbutt to the stomach. Bayley drops Nikki on the turnbuckle and then a sliding Clothesline. Bayley throws Nikki to the outside. Alexa Bliss throws Bayley off the apron onto the steel steps.
Bliss brings her back and covers to get two-count. Cross and Bliss make quick tags to keep Bayley under control in the corner. Nikki finally drags Bayley to the center and hits a neckbreaker for a near fall. Bayley finally reverses Cross and drags her to the outside. Nikki traps Bayley on the ring cloth and Alexa hits her behind her head with a Dropkick. She slaps Baley and then pushes her in the ring.
Bliss drags Bayley in and takes her to the corner again as they hang her up in the corner and take quick tags. Bliss goes to the top and hits her with strikes. Bayley manages to get out but Bliss hangs her with a Chokehold. Bliss hits the Insult to Injury for a near fall. Bliss catches Bayley with a stiff shot, but Bayley comes back and pounds down Alexa. She then jumps out with a Suicide Dive on Nikki. Bayley hangs up Alexa on the ropes for a near fall.
Nikki tags herself in and Bayley takes her down. Bayley has a leg lock and also locks Bliss in with a Crossface. Bliss takes a page out of Pete Dunne’s book and bites her. Bayley isolates Cross, but Cross comes out of nowhere with a Tornado DDT. Bliss went for the Twisted Bliss, but Bayley got the knees up. Bayley hits the knee on Cross and goes to the top rope. She hits the Elbow drop from the top rope to get the win.
