WWE has officially announced a Strap match for WWE Extreme Rules 2022.
Karrion Kross will finally have his first main roster PPV match as he will face Drew McIntyre in a Strap match.
Kross has set his eyes on McIntyre ever since he returned to WWE. He even attacked McIntyre the very moment he made his WWE return.
On the latest episode of SmackDown, McIntyre announced their Extreme Rules match and stated this match is designed to inflict an extreme amount of pain.
Kross was trying to ambush McIntyre, but the latter greeted him with a Glasgow kiss. McIntyre then tied the strap around Kross’ wrist and launched an attack.
As McIntyre was beating Kross, Scarlett entered the ring and shot a fireball at McIntyre’s face. Kross ended the segment by putting McIntyre into the Kross Jacket.
WWE featured the last strap match back in 2020 when between Bray Wyatt and Daniel Bryan. Now, the stipulation will return against Extreme Rules on October 8, 2022.
