WWE has signed independent wrestler Shotzi Blackheart for their performance center and there have also been some reports of the company also signing Scarlett Bordeaux.
NXT General Manager William Regal publicly offered a contract to Shotzi Blackheart(real name Ashley Urbanski) at EVOLVE 137 event this weekend. Squared Circle Sirens earlier reported the deal between the two parties but it was denied by Blackheart at the time.
Making her debut in 2015, Blackheart has wrestled for different promotions in the United States including SHINE Wrestling, GCW and IWA Mid-South. She is expected to be announced for the Performance Center classes this winter. Her last independent appearance is expected on 3 November with SHIMMER.
Blackheart was a contestant during WWE’s most recent edition of Tough Enough. But she was denied the entry in the final 14 contestants due to irregular heartbeat, of which she was unaware at the time. She also appeared during EVOLVE’s 10th Anniversary Celebration that aired on the WWE network, facing Brandi Lauren in a no disqualification match.
There is a report from Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE has also signed Scarlett Bordeaux. Scarlett Bordeaux is one of the most talked-about and highest trending names in women’s wrestling today. Bordeaux is best known for her work as a manager/valet/wrestler for promotions like AAW in Chicago, AAA in Mexico as well as Impact Wrestling.
Real name Elizabeth Chihaia, Bordeaux had a tryout at WWE Performance Center last month. She has earlier appeared in WWE as part of Adam Rose’s party of the Rosebuds in 2014. In 2016, Scarlett worked at Monday Night RAW as a jobber against Nia Jax.
