Second WarGames Match Announced for NXT WargGames 2021
Tonight’s episode of NXT 2.0 set the men’s WarGames match for the 2021 edition of WWE NXT WarGames.
This year’s Men’s WarGames match will feature Johnny Gargano, Tomasso Ciampa, Pete Dunne, and LA Knight competing against Grayson Waller, Bron Breakker, Carmelo Hayes, and Tony D’Angelo in a Team Old School vs Team New School match.
Tonight’s NXT episode featured Carmelo Hayes defending his North American Championship against Johnny Gargano and Pete Dunne. Hayes retained the title after Tony D’Angelo attacked Dune and Carmelo got the pin on Gargano.
Grayson Waller and LA Knight also came out towards the ring brawling with each other. Pete Dunne and Tony D’Angelo got involved in this brawl as well. Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes launched an assault on Johnny but his former DIY partner Tomasso Ciampa came to save him.
Bron Breakker also came out to even the odds and then set up the WarGames match between these 8 wrestlers. Now, they are all set to collide inside a cage on December 5 at WWE NXT WarGames 2021.
Additionally, three more matches were confirmed for NXT WarGames 2021 PPV. Joe Gacy will challenge Roderick Strong for Cruiserweight Championship, while Imperium will defend the Tag Team titles against a new #1 contender team.
A “Hair vs Hair” match will take place between Cameron Grimes vs Duke Hudson. Kay Lee Ray has also replaced Zoey Stark in the women’s WarGames match.
