Man Who Attacked Seth Rollins on Raw Got Arrested

On last night’s episode of Monday Night Raw, a fan jumped the barricade and attacked Seth Rollins at the Barclays Center. 

According to ESPN’s Marc Raimondi, the New York Police Department (NYPD) arrested the man and charged him with attempted assault. He was also booked under attempted violation of arts and cultural events. 

A 24-year-old male has been taken into custody in Brooklyn following an attack on WWE wrestler Seth Rollins during the Raw TV show in Brooklyn, an NYPD spokesperson told ESPN. Charges are pending. No name released yet.

According to the report by the NYPD, a fan named Elisah Spencer jumped the barricade and attacked Rollins. The latter even refused medical attention after the incident. 

Initially, the altercation even went live on TV but then the cameraman cut the video to the ring. Rollins managed to get Elisah into the headlock until the police arrived on the scene. 

WWE also released a statement in which they stated they take the safety of their performers very safely. The statement also revealed that the guy who attacked Seth Rollins has been arrested by the NYPD and he will face consequences for his actions to the fullest extent of the law. 

Seth Rollins is the current #1 contender to face WWE Champion, Big E. The Monday Night Messiah defeated Finn Balor on last night’s episode of Raw.
