Sami Zayn vs Johnny Knoxville Added to WrestleMania 38
On the latest episode of WWE SmackDown, it was confirmed that Sami Zayn will face Johnny Knoxville in a singles match at WrestleMania 38.
On the March 4 edition of SmackDown, Sami Zayn faced Ricochet in an IC title match. During the match, Johnny Knoxville came out and distracted Zayn which eventually cost him the match.
After the match, Sami Zayn was furious and he issued a challenge to Johnny to face him at WrestleMania 38. Later, Knoxville was also interviewed backstage where he accepted Sami Zayn’s challenge for a match at the Grandest Stage of them all.
The feud between Sami Zayn and Johnny Knoxville started before Royal Rumble PPV. Knoxville defeated Zayn and earned a spot in the Royal Rumble match.
Last week, Knoxville tried to challenge Sami Zayn for the IC title. However, Zayn rewarded him with two Helluva Kicks instead.
WWE also confirmed that Sami Zayn vs Johnny Knoxville will take place on WrestleMania 38 Night 2, i.e., on Sunday, April 3.
