Last year’s winner, Kazuchika Okada is once again in the final of G1 Climax final. He topped the Block A and then defeated Block B winner Tama Tonga in the semifinal. Will Ospreay made it to the semifinal on the last day of league phase from Block D and then defeated Tetsuya Naito in the semifinal. Will Will Ospreay win his first G1 Climax tournament or will Okada win the tournament for the fourth time?
The undercard will feature a bunch of tag team matches featuring Chaos, Bullet Club, House of Torture, TMDK, Team Filthy, United Empire and Los Ingobernables de Japon.
