Naomi & Rousey Defeated Deville & Charlotte at Elimination Chamber 2022
Ronda Rousey was right indeed when she said she could beat Sonya Deville with one hand tied as she and Naomi defeated the team of Charlotte Flair and Sonya Deville at the Elimination Chamber 2022 PPV event.
In the beginning moments of the match, Deville and Charlotte took advantage of Rousey’s situation and dominated her. However, soon Ronda turned the tables and tagged Naomi.
In the ending moments, Ronda Rousey talked some trash with Charlotte and then put Sonya in an armbar to get the submission.
Ever since Naomi returned to SmackDown, WWE official Sonya Deville proved to be a thorn to her. She even cost her SmackDown Women’s title match against Charlotte several times. Meanwhile, Ronda Rousey won the Women’s Royal Rumble and decided to face Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 38.
When Sonya Deville and Charlotte teamed up to attack Naomi, Ronda Rousey came to her rescue. As a result, WWE announced a tag-team between Charlotte Flair & Sonya Deville vs Naomi & Ronda Rousey.
Later Sonya got a stipulation added to the match that Rousey would compete with one arm tied behind her back. This was the result of a statement made by Rousey during an interview where she said she could beat up Sonya with one hand tied to the back.
