Jon Moxley vs Bryan Danielson Set for AEW Revolution PPV

Jon Moxley vs Brian Danielson

A big singles match is announced for AEW Revolution 2022 PPV as Jon Moxley is confirmed to take on Bryan Danielson.

Bryan Danielson has been keeping tabs on Jon Moxley ever since his return to AEW at the start of the year after a hiatus. He proposed Moxley join him to form a stable with him to take a bunch of young AEW guys under their wings.

Moxley responded to Bryan last week and told him how he admired Bryan as the best wrestler in the world and always wanted to face him in the ring. But, he is disappointed that he had not formed a tag team with anyone until he had bled with them in the ring.

Bryan faced Daniel Garcia this week on Dynamite and defeated him in the main event. After the match, 2Point0 attacked Bryan, only for Moxley to make the save. After this, Bryan told Moxley that he would not need some equipment to make someone bleed and he will see Moxley in the ring at AEW Revolution.

This will be their first match as opponents since the Intercontinental Championship Ladder match at WWE WrestleMania 31 in April 2015. They had teamed up to take on AJ Styles and Seth Rollins in December 2018 at WWE Tribute to the Troops show.

It remains to be seen if Moxley can beat Bryan in AEW. He has not defeated Bryan in any of the televised singles matches in WWE, as per data from ProfightDB.

AEW Revolution 2022 PPV will take place on March 6 from Financial Addition Center in Orlando, FL.
