Moose called his shot for the IMPACT World Championship match against Josh Alexander at IMPACT Bound for Glory 2021 PPV.
Josh Alexander challenged Christian Cage for the IMPACT World title at Bound For Glory 2021. He earlier relinquished the X-Division title, a division that he dominated throughout this year, in order to get the World title shot.
IMPACT also booked a Royal Rumble Style “Call Your Gauntlet” match on the same event. Moose ended up winning that match and earned the right to call his shot for the World title match at the time of his choosing for the next one year.
Alexander and Cage had an intense match in the main event of Bound for Glory and Alexander was able to defeat Christian with an ankle lock submission. After the match, Alexander celebrated his first World title win with his wife and daughter in the ring
Moose suddenly appeared in the ring and told the referee that he is calling World title shot right away. The referee called for the bell and Alexander told his family to get away from the ring, only to turn to Moose with a spear. Moose got an easy win to become the IMPACT World Champion for the first time.
