WWE Elimination Chamber 2022: Becky Lynch Defeats Lita in a Thriller
Becky Lynch remains on the top of the Raw women’s division as she retained her title against Lita in a thriller match at WWE Elimination Chamber 2022 event.
The match had several close moments as Lita survived one Manhandle slam whereas Big Time Becks kicked out after Twist of Fate and a top-rope moonsault from Lita. Lita pushed Becky Lynch to her limits but in the end, Lynch managed to defeat her icon by hitting another manhandle slam to get the win.
On the January 31 episode of Raw, WWE Hall of Famer Lita appeared on Raw and challenged Becky Lynch for the Raw Women’s Championship match at Elimination Chamber. Initially, Big Time Becks refused this match but then Lita provoked her by saying that Becky is afraid of her which resulted in Lynch accepting the challenge.
Becky Lynch already stated that she is in the WWE because of Lita, but now that she is here, there can be no Lita. Meanwhile, the latter was determined to prove that she still has what it takes to get on the top of the women’s division.
Now, Becky Lynch will face Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 38 in a rematch from SummerSlam 2021. Becky defeated Belair in a squash match on her return to WWE at SummerSlam last year. Bianca now won the #1 contender Elimination Chamber match and earned the right to face the RAW Women’s Champion at the Grandest Stage of Them All.
