Report on John Cena’s WWE Return Date & Location
John Cena is expected to return to WWE for a big match at SummerSlam 2021. However, he is still now advertised by WWE in any manner whatsoever.
There have been reports earlier which mentioned that Cena might not return to WWE for another run due to his movie commitments. Cena recently wrapped up shooting for the Peacemaker series.
Cena’s next movie series Argylle is also set to go into production next month. But, that schedule is not expected to hinder his appearance at WWE SummerSlam this year. Adding to this, a new report has now revealed the date for his return to WWE.
Fightful Select is reporting that the current plan is for Cena to return on the 23 July episode of SmackDown. It will be the first SmackDown episode after Money in the Bank 2021 PPV and will air from Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
The report also mentioned that Cena could return sooner than 23 July SmackDown. But that date is currently penciled for Cena’s return as of now.
