AJ Styles & Omos vs The Viking Raiders Added to Money in the Bank
WWE RAW Tag Team Champions AJ Styles and Omos will defend the titles against The Viking Raiders(Erik & Ivar) at WWE Money in the Bank 2021 PPV, WWE has announced
AJ Styles and Omos won the titles at WrestleMania 37 in April. The Viking Raiders became the number 1 contender for the title in June. Since then, both teams are feuding.
AJ Styles has mocked The Viking Raiders by labeling them as uncultured beings and whatnot. The Vikings, in turn, have interfered and cost several matches to AJ. They were at ringside to distract Omos as AJ faced Ricochet in the Money in the Bank qualifier, which led to Ricochet defeating AJ. Later, they also caused a distraction during AJ vs Riddle match last week.
The title was earlier announced for the RAW episode of 19 July 2021. It will be the first RAW episode with a live crowd since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This week, Ivar defeated AJ in a singles match, but Omos was able to defeat Erik with ease. After those set of encounters, WWE announced that the title match is now shifted to Money in the Bank PPV.
