WWE has reportedly changed the date for Hell In a Cell 2020 PPV once again.

Last month, it was reported that Hell In a Cell was rescheduled for 1 November. Those dates were according to the contract between WWE & Amway Center which had a WWE PPV to be held on 27 September(Clash of Champions) and no PPV in October month. WWE’s deal with Amway Center ends on 30 October.

However, Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that the event has been moved back to October again and will take place on 25 October. WWE has not announced anything officially yet though.

WON’s report also does not state why the date was changed. But we can speculate that WWE wanted to hold PPV in the current Thunderdome setup at the Amway Center than to go get the setup ready somewhere else in just two days after SmackDown on 30 October.

The change in the date may also be due very less turn around time before Survivor Series, which is currently scheduled for 22 November. With this change, WWE will also maintain the 4 weeks gap between Clash of Champions and Hell in a Cell.

WWE already has NXT UK TakeOver scheduled for 25 October for now. If the same date is now marked for Hell in a Cell, it will also go against Impact Wrestling’s Bound For Glory PPV. For the latest dates of upcoming WWE PPVs, please check this link.
