ROH has revealed that CM Punk will be fourth and last inductee in ROH Hall of Fame class of 2022.

Ring of Honor revealed this news by doing a press release on Monday morning. Now, CM Punk will join the stars like Bryan Danielson, Samoa Joe, and The Briscoes in the ROH’s inaugural Hall of Fame class.

CM Punk had several memorable matches at the promotion including his series of matches with Samoa Joe and his infamous Summer of Punk storyline. CM Punk won the ROH World Championship in 2005 right after making a deal with WWE. Throughout the summer, Punk threatened ROH fans that he would take the promotion’s world title to WWE.

In the press release, ROH described Punk as one of the most charismatic and compelling performers in the history of the promotion. They also praised his straight-edge lifestyle.

ROH also mentioned Punk’s other achievements such as his 434-days WWE championship reign, and him performing in the main event against the stars like the Rock and John Cena.

Now, ROH will drop a Youtube special on CM Punk on February 28, and a special Hall of Fame episode featuring all the inductees will air on March 5.
