Bobby Lashley To Defend WWE Title inside Elimination Chamber
WWE has announced that Bobby Lashley will defend the WWE Championship in the Elimination Chamber match.
The match will take place at Elimination Chamber 2022 event which will take place on February 19 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Bobby Lashley won the WWE title for the second time at Royal Rumble 2022 from Brock Lesnar. Although, it was not a clean win as Roman Reigns attacked Lesnar during the match, with some help from Paul Heyman, to affect the result in that match.
Lashley will now make his first title defense inside the Chamber. The Elimination Chamber match will take place outside North America for the first time. WWE did not announce who will be the other participants in the title match. We can expect some of the names for the match to be announced at the WWE RAW episode later tonight.
The likes of Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, United States Champion Damian Priest, Dolph Ziggler, Robert Roode, and other top stars could be some of the names to challenge Lashley inside the chamber.
At last year’s Elimination Chamber, Drew McIntyre also defended the WWE title inside the Chamber and came out victorious. This was followed by Lashley attacking McIntyre and The Miz cashing in the Money in the Bank contract to win the WWE title. Lashley later defeated The Miz to win his first WWE title.
