AEW Dynamite October 6, 2021- Live Results & Updates
AEW Dynamite will move to Liacouras Center in Philadelphia for their October 6, 2021 episode, which will also be AEW’s 2nd Anniversary show. The card for the show is pretty stacked to say the least.
A Casino Ladder match is announced by AEW to find the new #1 contender for AEW World Championship. Sammy Guevara’s first title defense against a former NXT star. Elites will face a challenge from Daniel Bryan and his team.

- Super Elites(Kenny Omega, Adam Cole, Nick Jackson & Matt Jackson) defeated Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus, Christian Cage & Daniel Bryan in a tag team match via pinfall.
- Sammy Guevara(c) defeated Bobby Fish via pinfall to retain AEW TNT Championship.
- Darby Allin defeated Nick Comroto in a singles match via pinfall.
- Serene Debb defeated Hikaru Shida in a singles match via submission.
- “Hangman” Adam Page defeated Jon Moxley, Matt Hardy, Orange Cassidy, PAC, Andrade El Idolo and Lance Archer to win the Casino Ladder match.

Super Elites(Kenny Omega, Adam Cole, Nick Jackson & Matt Jackson) vs Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus, Christian Cage & Daniel Bryan
Jungle Boy and Nick Jackson start. Nick puts on the headlock. Jungle Boy hits an armdrag and a dropkick to force Nick to tag out to Cole. Cole sends Jungle Boy into the corner. Christian tags in and drops Cole on the ropes.
The match breaks down into a patter with heels taking control over Jungle Boy. Bryan comes in and goes berserk on Omega with chops and “Yes” kicks. The match broke down in chaos as everyone starts to come out with big dives and moves.
Jungle Boy is corner by all four members of Elite who hit there finishers on him. Bryan breaks the tag but the heels take him down and send him back to the floor. The Elites hit four-way BTE trigger on Jungle Boy to get the pin on him.

CM Punk Speaks
CM Punks comes out to another loud ovation. He talks about his history with Philadelphia and how he use to work 5-6 days in a week and become rich spiritually. So, he wants to give it back to Philadelphia. He offers everyone in the crown cheesecakes or he can wrestle for them. The crowd cheers for him to wrestle. Punk calls out Daniel Garcia to fight him on Rampage.
A pre-recorded segment with Arn Anderson, who is outside Cody’s house. He burns up his old T-Shirt. Arn says Cody has gone completely Hollywood. Cody notices Arn is outside and comes out himself. Arn wanted Cody’s tie to burn next. they argue for a while and Arn tells Cody that he left them and ran to Hollywood.
Sammy Guevara(c) vs Bobby Fish – AEW TNT Championship
They trade strikes to start. Sammy hits an armdrag and dropkick. He goes for a springboard move and Fish kicks at his calf. Fish hits a springboard senton. Fish countinues to dominate as we cut to a picture in picture break.
Fish hits a body slam as we return. Sammy fights back with quick moves. Fish hits a backdrop driver. Sammy hits a standing Spanish Fly. He goes to the top but Fish stops the move by kicking at him. Fish hits an avalanche Falcon Arrow. He was slow in cover and Sammy kicks out of the pin. Fish sends him into the turnbuckle with an exploder. Sammy hits GTS for the win.
Winner – Sammy Guevara(retains TNT title)
Just as the match ends, American Top Team members Junior Dos Santos, Paige Vanzant and others come out and start to beat up Guevara. Fuego Del Sol also comes out but gets beaten up. Jericho’s music hits and he runs down with Hager to make the save.
New Title
Tony Schiavone is in the ring with Audrey Edwards, who has a new title covered in a bag. Tony announces new TBS Championship for the women’s division. The title will come to AEW when Dynamite moves to TBS in January.
Darby Allin vs Nick Comroto
Darby takes out other members of Nightmare Factory before the match starts. He starts with quick moves from the ropes. Comroto cuts him off after a few seconds. He dominates as we cut to a break. We see Comroto still dominating during the picture in picture break.
We return from the break just in time for Darby to hit a stunner and coffin drop for the win.

Post-match, QT Marshall comes into the ring and attacks Sting. Sting drop him with scorpion death drop.
Dante Martin’s Challenge
Dante Martin is in the ring with Tony Schiavone. Martin says he has shown what a threat he could be for the locker room. He puts out an open challenge for anyone to face him. The lights go out and Malakai Black is in the ring when they come back. Black spits Black mist at Martin and takes him out. The lights go out again and Martin is on the floor when we return. Black says, “The House of Black accepts,” and makes his exit.
Hikaru Shida vs Serena Debb
Serena Debb put Shida into Serenity lock and forced her to tap out. More details to be added soon.

Casino Ladder Match
Adam Page made his return to AEW after two months and pulled down the casino chip from the top to win the match. He will get the AEW World Title shot against Kenny Omega. More match details to be added soon.
