AEW Reportedly Booked Long Island For Its Debut Show In December
According to the latest reports, All Elite Wrestling will also hold a debut event in a Long Island arena in New York.
The growth of AEW has been unbelievable in the past few years. From being a promotional startup, it becomes a solid wrestling show and an alternative to WWE, and that too in only two years.
In the past few months, AEW signed several big names such as CM Punk, Christian Cage, Paul Wight (Big Show), Malakai Black, Sting, and many more. The addition of these world-class wrestlers to the roster of AEW helped the promotion grow at a rapid rate. The TV footprint of the company also increased with a new TV program titled Rampage that will be released every Friday.
AEW will make its New York City debut this very month with Dynamite: Grand Slam on September 22. However, that is not the only AEW that will take place in New York this year. Dave Meltzer reported that All Elite Wrestling has booked the UBS arena in Long Island, NY for an episode of Dynamite on December 8.
Recently WWE has booked the same arena for an episode of Monday Night Raw that will take place on November 29. Now, it will be interesting to see which promotion will be able to attract more audience in their debut shows at Long Island.
