Taila Santos vs Valentina Shevchenko Targeted for UFC 275

According to the reports, the UFC Women’s Flyweight Championship match between Valentina Shevchenko and Taila Santos might take place at UFC 275.

MMA Fighting reported that Valentina Shevchenko vs Taila Santos is in the works for UFC 275 which will take place later this year in June. 

Valentina won the title back in 2018, and since then she has successfully defended her title six times. Shevchenko has been quite dominant inside the octagon since she held the title. 

She is coming off a victory against Lauren Murphy. Valentina defeated her at UFC 266 via TKO.  So far, Valentina Shevchenko has only lost against Amanda Nunes in the UFC.

On the other hand, Taila Santos is on an impressive four-fight winning streak. She last defeated Joanne Wood via first-round submission last year in November. Santos has only one loss in her UFC career and that came against Mara Romero Borella. 

The promotion hasn’t announced a location or venue for UFC 275, but it is speculated that the PPV event would take place in Singapore on June 11.
