UFC 268: Payouts, Salaries, Performance Bonuses
UFC Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman would be bagging around $1.5 million, as per estimated numbers, from UFC 268 when all is said and done.
Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington battled in a high stakes main event match at UFC 268 where Usman was able to get a unanimous decision win. The two stars will likely emerge as the top earners from UFC 268. Usman is likely to bag $1 million in base salary while around $500000 in PPV bonus as the champion.
Rose Namajunas, who also retained her title with a split decision win over Zhang Weili, will also earn around $500000 in PPV bonus, but will get only quarter milllion dollars in base salary. The challengers do not get any PPV bonus, but Colby Covington is expected to get around $250000 in that quota. He will get his career high pay day of around $900000 for UFC 268. Zhang Weili will bag around $232000 in total pay from the event.
It is also expected that Justin Gaethje will also trump Namajunas on the pay scale from the event thanks to his win bonus($250000) and performance of the night award($50000).
