Dan Ige vs Josh Emmett Added to UFC 269

Josh Emmett vs Dan Ige UFC 269

A featherweight bout Dan Ige vs Josh Emmett added to the march card for UFC 269 and made it even more stacked.

UFC 269 will be the promotion’s last PPV event of this year that will take place on December 11 from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The match card of this event was already stacked and now it has another solid featherweight bout in it.

Multiple sources have confirmed to BJPENN.com that Emmett and Ige have been agreed to for UFC 269. ESPN and MMA Junkie has also confirmed the bout in their reports. This is a fairly new addition as UFC confirmed the match card only last week, but this fight was not part of the card at that point.

Josh Emmett will enter inside the octagon almost after one and a half years. In his last match, he faced Shane Burgos at UFC on ESPN 11 where he managed to win via unanimous decision. He is currently on a three-match winning streak and he must be looking forward to extending it to four.

On the other hand, Dan Ige will try to get on a winning track again as he lost his last fight to Chan Sang Jung in the main event of UFC on ESPN 25. Ige started this year with a bang as he knocked out Gavin Tucker in the very first round at UFC Fight Night 187.  Now, he would like to end the year in the same manner as well.

Lightweight Championship bout between Charles Oliviera and Dustin Poirier will main event UFC 269 whereas in the co-main event Amanda Nunes and Julianna Pena collide for the women’s bantamweight title.
