Amanda Ribas vs Katlyn Chookagian Set for May 14 UFC Fight Night Event

According to reports, Amanda Ribas vs Katlyn Chookagian Women’s Flyweight bout is set to take place at the UFC Fight Night event on May 14. 

MMA News reported that the former title challenger Katlyn Chookagian will collide against Amanda Ribas at UFC Fight Night 209. 

Amanda Ribas will move up to the Flyweight division in order to challenge Chookagian. She is a strawweight prospect and is coming off a win against Virna Jandiroba at UC 267. She is a rising star and is 5-1 in UFC. 

On the other hand, Katlyn Chookagian is at #2 in UFC Women’s Flyweight rankings. She is on a three-fight winning streak and is coming off a unanimous decision victory against Jennifer Maia. Before her, she managed to defeat Viviane Araujo and Cynthia Calvillo. 

If Amanda Ribas manages to beat Katlyn Chookagian, she will get a huge boost in her UFC rankings, and she might even get a place in the top 5 of the UFC Women Flyweight division. 

UFC is yet to reveal the location, and venue for the UFC Fight Night 209 event which is set to take place on May 14, 2022.
