WBC Ruling Can Decide Tyson Fury’s Next Bout Next Week

Tyson Fury

Initially, it was stated that if Tyson Fury wins against Ddeontay Wilder then he must defend his titles against the winner of Dillian Whyte and Otto Wallin. However, the fight has been canceled now.

Dillian pulled out of this bout that was scheduled to take place on October 30. However, the promoter of Wallins, wants the promotion to reschedule this fight. WBC will announce its decision next week. If they reschedule this match, then Whyte has to face Wallin before squaring off against Tyson Fury.

On the other hand, the promoter of Tyson Fury, Bob Arum stated that it would be up to the Gypsy King who he wants to face next. If he wants to face Whyte he will step into the ring and if he doesn’t then he’ll just simply choose someone else.

Arum also added that Joe Joyce could be the potential next opponent of Fury. He is currently ranked at #3 in WBC. Arum is also undefeated and would be the best opponent for Fury before he faces Anthony Joshua or Oleksandr Usyk next year.

However, WBC holds the right to strip Tyson Fury off his championship if he refuses to face Dillian Whyte. Now, it will be interesting to see with whom Tyson Fury will end up inside the boxing ring next.
