Oscar Valdez vs Shakur Stevenson Super Featherweight title unification bout will headline a Top Rank card on ESPN on April 30, 2022, at MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, NV.
Valdez(30-0) will put his WBC Super Featherweight title on the line while Shakur Stevenson(17-0) will put his WBO Super Featherweight title on the line in the title unification bout. Stevenson barely made the weight and had to strip completely to come under the weight limit.
Stevenson won the title against Jamel Herring in October 2021. For Valdez, this will be the second title defense since winning it against Miguel Berchelt.
The main card, featuring three fights, will air live on ESPN and ESPN Deportes in United States along with ESPN+ streaming from 10 PM EST. Prelims will air from 7 PM EST onwards on ESPN+. In UK, the main card will air on Sky Sports while Fite TV will carry the event worldwide in many countries.
