Oleksandr Usyk vs Anthony Joshua II event will feature a highly anticipated rematch between Uysk and Joshua. The event is billed as “Rage on the Red Sea”, and will see Usyk putting his WBA(super), IBF and WBO World Heavyweight Championships on the line.

Usyk defeated Joshua to win those three titles last year on September 25 via unanimous decision. That loss was only the second career loss in Joshua’s pro-boxing career.

Joshua has been in the World title scene since April 2016 when he won the IBF Heavyweight title by defeating Charles Martin. He later added WBAsuper) and IBO titles by beating Wladimir Klitschko in April 2017 before winning WBO title by beating Joseph Parker in March 2018. He suffered his first career loss to Andy Ruiz Jr. in June 2019, but he won the rematch and won back all the titles six months later.

Usyk had been an Undisputed Champion in the Cruiserweight division before he decided to jump to heavyweight. Upon moving up the weight class, he was made a WBO mandatory challenger. After much delays, Usyk got his shot at all three of Joshua’s titles in September 2021 where he shocked the world by getting a unanimous decision win. Joshua then triggered a rematch clause from his contract to set up their second clash.

In the co-main event, former WBA(super) Middleweight Champion Callum Smith will face Mathieu Bauderlique in WBC Light Heavyweight title eliminator bout. Former Featherweight Olympian Ramla Ali, Heavyweights Filip Hrgovic and Zhang Zhilei will also be on the undercard.
