Nonito Donaire vs Naoya Inoue II Might Take Place in April

According to the latest reports, the Bantamweight Champion Nonito Donaire might face Naoya Inoue in a much-awaited rematch in April this year.
Currently, they’re in negotiations for their rematch, and if everything goes well, their second bout might take place in Japan.
Back in 2019, The Monster, Naoya Inoue managed to defeat Nonito Donaire via unanimous decision in a competitive 12-round match to win the Ali Trophy.
Inoue did get the victory but he suffered some injuries during the match. If it wasn’t for The Monster’s dodging skills, Donaire would’ve knocked him out with his lethal punches.
Recently Nonito had a chat with Punch Perfect Boxing where he stated that this time he would come with several different strategies. He believes that now he is familiar with Inoue’s moves and actions.
The last match between these boxers was really a competitive one. Therefore, now everyone is eagerly waiting for the confirmation of their rematch.
There is a possibility that the much-awaited rematch would be announced in the next few weeks after Nonito and Naoya reach an agreement.
