Joseph “Jojo” Diaz returns to boxing ring for the first time since losing to Devin Haney. He will face William Zepada to headline an event in San Diego on October 29, 2022.
Before losing to Haney, Diaz was a 7-fight undefeated streak with the latest being a win over Javier Fortuna in July 2021. Mexico’s Zepada remains undefeated in his career so far and has two wins already this year over Rene Alvarado and Luis Angel Viedas.
Alexis Rocha is in co-main event against Jesus Antonio Perez Campos to defend NABO Welterweight title. Leonela Yudica will defend IBF Women’s Flyweight title against Arely Mucino. Hector Valdez vs Max Ornelas Super Bantamweight bout will open the main card.
