Naoya Inoue and Nonita Donaire will clash for their second bantamweight title unification bout(WBA(super), IBF, WBC & The Ring) on June 7, 2022, at Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.
Noaya Inoue(22-0) earlier defeated Nonita Donaire(42-6) in the final of the World Boxing Super Series bantamweight tournament to win the IBF and WBA(super) bantamweight titles. He has since successfully defended the titles against Jason Moloney, Michael Dasmarinas, and Aran Dipen.
Donaire won the WBC bantamweight title one year ago from Nordine Oubaali. His only defense of that title came in November against Reymart Gaballo. This rematch comes almost three years after their first title unification bout.
