Undefeated fighter Edgar Berlanga(18-0) will take on veteran Steve Rolls(21-1) in the main event of a Top Rank card on March 19, 2022, at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Berlanga is coming off a bicep injury that he sustained in his last fight in October 2021 against Marcelo Cocores on the undercard of Fury vs Wilder III card. That win was Berlanga’s second straight decision win after his first 16 wins came via first-round stoppages.
Steve Rolls will return to Madison Square Garden for the first time since his sole career loss against Gennadiy Golovkin at the venue. He has since defeated Christopher Brooker and Gilberto Pereira dos Santos via knockouts.
