Nikki Cross Added To SmackDown Survivor Series 2019 Team

Nikki Cross has officially been announced as the final member of Team Smackdown that will take on team RAW and team NXT in the 5 on 5 elimination match at Survivor Series 2019.

Earlier, Sasha Banks was announced as the captain of the SmackDown side. Dana Brooke and Carmella qualified to the team by defeating Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose. The “Sassy Southern Belle” Lacey Evans was also added to the side going into last week’s SmackDown episode.

Nikki Cross was put against SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley in order to qualify for the Survivor Series team. However, their match was cut short when NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler attacked Bayley. More NXT athletes came out and attacked both Bayley and Cross before team SmackDown forced them to retreat.

This led to an 8 women tag team match between team NXT and team SmackDown and Nikki Cross got the pin over Dakota Kai to get the win for her team. It was speculated that Cross would eventually be added to the team. Neither RAW nor NXT’s women team are announced as of yet.

Survivor Series 2019 takes place this Sunday, 24 November 2019 at Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois.
