Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley will face off in the Last Man Standing match at Extreme Rules 2019.
These two men earlier faced off at Super ShowDown, and then in an arm-wrestling match and tug of war in a show of their strengths. Each of those three times, Strowman came out on top. Their Falls Count Anywhere match, last week at RAW, ended in a no-result after Strowman’s running tackle crashed both of them through the stage LED board.
After the accident, WWE announced that Strowman has likely suffered a ruptured pelvic injury. But Bobby Lashley was fine enough to cut a promo the very next day. Although there was no update on Strowman’s injury status this week on RAW, the match between them was announced.
Also, this week, Bobby Lashley defeated the returning Rey Mysterio in a quick match. He also tried to crash Mysterio through the LED board but was stopped by the officials. Although, he did cut a promo again to warn Braun Strowman ahead of their Extreme Rules encounter.
Extreme Rules will take place on 14 July at Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia. You can find more information, news and updates, you can follow this space.
