Goldberg and Undertaker are announced to face off at WWE’s Saudi Arabia Event titled ‘Super Showdown’.
WWE has made a huge announcement regarding their Saudi Arabia event which is to be held on 7 June this year at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah with WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg coming face to face against the Undertaker. WWE also announced that the show will be titled Super Showdown. This name was last year given to the Internation Show that took place in Melbourne, Australia.
Goldberg will appear for a WWE match after 2 years since he dropped the Universal Title to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 33. This will also be the first time in their career that Goldberg and Undertaker will come face to face in a single match. Their only meaningful face-offs have come in the Royal Rumble 2017 match where Undertaker eliminated Goldberg from behind.
Apart from this WWE has also announced a match between Triple H and Randy Orton. Former Evolution teammates had a fair share of up and down in their relationships during their WWE career. But it will be interesting to see if fans would give this match any sort of attention without any storyline buildup around it. The same will be the case with Goldberg and Undertaker match also but considering both of them are part-timers with WWE, the uproar might not be as much.
Also announced for the show is the 50 men Battle Royal just like the Greatest Royal Rumble last year at the same venue.
