WWE RAW Live Results and Updates- 25 March 2019

RAW will be live tonight from TD Garden in Boston. We are just 2 weeks before WrestleMania and there is plenty to look forward to as many matches are still to be finalized. The first of them will be confirmed today if Roman Reigns would accept the challenge put forward by Drew McIntyre last week. Ronda is still on a wild streak but would any of Becky or Charlotte come forward to cool her down a bit? Apart from that, there is still plenty more advertised. You can check out the preview here. 1. More hype for the Women’s main event!

The show opens with commentators reminding us of the announcement of Women’s match headlining WrestleMania. Ronda Rousey comes out as we come to know that all three women from the match will take part in beat the clock challenge against the Riott Squad members. Ronda promises us that she will make both Becky and Charlotte tap out at the same time and disses the beat the clock challenge. Riott Squad came out followed by Becky Lynch. Becky asks Ronda to stop being a weirdo. Ronda wrestled all the members on the roster but she did not get any reaction until she came out to face her. Charlotte also comes out and says that the women are in the main event because of what she’s done for 7 years in the WWE and also why they are in the main event of WrestleMania.

2. Ronda Rousey vs Sarah Logan – Beat the Clock Challenge Match

Sarah runs out of the ring to waste time. As they enter back to the ring, Sarah kicks Ronda in the midsection and locks her in a leg lock. She takes Ronda on the ropes but Ronda soon counters to put Sarah in the armbar and takes the match in 1:25.

3. Charlotte Flair vs Ruby Riott – Beat the Clock Challenge Match

Charlotte goes for the big boot, but Riott moves away and also counters Charlotte’s attempt to go for figure four. Riott sends Charlotte face first a couple of times and goes for the cover, but Charlotte kicks out. Charlotte goes for Figure Eight leg lock but runs out of time.

4. Becky Lynch vs Liv Morgan – Beat the Clock Challenge Match

Becky comes in to face Liv Morgan but an angry Charlotte lands a huge boot on Becky. Morgan lands multiple kicks to Becky and then goes for the cover, but Lynch kicks out. Becky counters with a kick and tries to go for the Dis-arm-Her, but Morgan counters. Becky lands a Jackknife cover and gets the win with 7 seconds before Ronda’s time.

5. Finn Balor vs Bobby Lashley and Jinder Mahal – 2 on 1 Handicapped Match

Lio cuts a short pre-match promo and tells us that he is not cleared medically and could not compete tonight and instead Jinder Mahal will take part instead. Lashley and Balor start. Lashley starts with a knee in the midsection and throws Balor in the corner. Balor goes to the apron to avoid Lashley’s splash but gets distracted by Lio Rush and the Singh Brothers to eat a forearm from Lashley.
Balor is trying to make a comeback on Lashley but Lashley sends him in the corner. As Lashley comes for the splash, Balor comes out of the corner to hit him with a knee. Mahal tags in and Balor counters to hit the reverse DDT. Balor lands a dropkick and then punches Mahal, who falls onto Lashley. He then lands a moonsault on Lashley, Mahal, and The Singh Brothers on the outside. Balor then lands a Coup de Grace on Mahal and gets the win.

Balor gets the WrestleMania match against Lashley for the Intercontinental Championship.

Elias is at Times Square in New York. He cuts a short promo hyping his WrestleMania musical performance. As he was starting to play, someone interrupts him. Elias then disses the New York crowd before we come back to the show to see Aleister Black enter.

6. Aleister Black and Ricochet vs the Revival

As the Revival enters the ring, Black and Ricochet attack them immediately. Wilder and Black start the match. Wilder hits a blow and tags in Dawson who locks Black’s arm right away. Black counters with a hammerlock and tags in Ricochet. They double team on Dawson before Black sent out Wilder. Ricochet misses a moonsault at the ringside on his opponents but Black takes them out instead.
Dawson has Ricochet in a headlock and then body slams the former NXT star. Wilder then tags in and The Revival double team and land a suplex, but Ricochet kicks out of a pinfall. Dawson tags in and mocks Ricochet by kicking him in the face. He hits a reverse neck breaker but misses two elbow drops right after. Ricochet counters with a huge kick and then a neck breaker on Wilder. Both men make the tag and Black who lands an elbow on Wilder and knocks Dawson down a few times, followed by a moonsault on both Revival members. Black then lands multiple kicks and punches on Dawson. A distraction helps Dawson land a DDT, but Black kicks out. Wilder tags in while Ricochet tags in at the same time. Ricochet lands a Black Mass on both members of Revival, and then Ricochet lands the 630 on Wilder and gets the win.

7. Drew McIntyre wants his answer!

McIntyre comes out before the break. He says that he does not care if the crowd likes him but he commands respect. One week is a long time and as he has not got an answer, he is here to remind Roman of the challenge and the punishment he took out on him two weeks ago. McIntyre then tells Roman to consult his extended family before taking his challenge(a shot at the Rock here). He then reminds us that he has also beaten Dean and Seth in the past two weeks. He is now calling out to Joe Anoaʻi the family man and advice him to not go through his challenge as he has already put them through so much. Roman enters.
Roman comes into the ring and stands face to face with McIntyre for some time. He gets on the mic and accepts the challenge and then tells McIntyre to never mention his family again before attacking him. As McIntyre moves at the ringside, he sends him into the barricade and takes him inside the ring. McIntyre hits a low blow and then a Claymore kick. A referee comes in the ring and asks McIntyre to move away from the ring as Roman is laid out. McIntyre leaves and shouts, “You should have said No”, from the entrance.

Dean Ambrose confronts McIntyre backstage and tells him that he is not exterminated yet. He then challenges McIntyre for the last man standing match tonight. McIntyre replies that he does not know how Dean is standing right now but he won’t be able to later in the night.

8. Sasha Banks vs Natalya

Banks takes down Natalya with an arm drag. Nattie eats a kick but counters with a blow of her own before applying a surfboard submission. Sasha counters and hits Meteora. Nattie counters and gets a near fall. She was going for the sharpshooter but Sasha counters to send her out of the ring. Natalya sends her into the barricade before Sasha counters with a hurricanrana from the apron.
Nattie has Sasha on her shoulders, bending her back. Sasha slips and hits another Meteora. Sasha puts her in the bank statement before Natalya counters to put her in the sharpshooter. Sasha breaks the hold after a couple of attempts. Nia Jax and Tamina attack everyone involved. Only Beth Pheonix could stand up to them. She sends Nia out before hitting the Glam Slam on Nia. She makes a statement to Sasha and Bayley when she stood over the Women’s Title match as Sasha goes to retrieve it.

9. Promos and Promos

The cameras shift to the commentators who make the Last Man Standing match between Dean Ambrose and Drew McIntyre before taking up the induction of the Hart Foundation in the WWE Hall of Fame. Natalya is in the ring when the tribute video was on the screen and gets emotional over her Father(Jim Neidhart) and Uncle(Bret Hart) going into the HOF.

Kurt Angle backstage in an interview with Charlie Caruso, thanks Samoa Joe to come from SmackDown to RAW for the match against him. He answers to why he wants to face Samoa Joe tonight on RAW by saying that his farewell tour is to leave on his own terms. Corbin interrupts and tells Angle that the fans cheer for him because they’re sad for him and that he should have retired 10 years ago. Angle replies by saying “screw you” and leaves.

Charlie asks Sasha and Bayley about the increasing competition in the Women’s division- Beth Pheonix, Natalya, the IIconics beating them at SmackDown last week, Nia Jax and Tamina. An infuriated Sasha tells her that they’ll take any team on at WrestleMania 35.

10. A Moment of Bliss with Braun Strowman, Colin Jost and Michael Che

Alexa in the ring for ‘A Moment of Bliss’ and says since she has become the host of WrestleMania things keeps getting better. But she is nervous that the biggest moment of her career could be ruined due to the ongoing Braun Strowman-SNL conflict. She calls out the first guest for the night, Braun Strowman. Colin and Michael join the show via Video Call. Colin further infuriates the crowd by donning the Mets Cap. Michael tells Braun that he crossed the line first when he physically abused Colin Jost. Jost says he was sincere when he said that he wants to be a mentor to Strowman. Jost asks Strowman to pay for the car he destroyed and get him an autograph from his favorite wrestler, Brock Lesnar. Strowman tells Colin to come into the Andre Giant Battle Royal to face him. Michael tells the challenge is on before Colin says if he is going to the Battle Royal, Michael would also go. Alexa Bliss confirms their participation and Strowman ended the segment with his “Get these hands” promo.

Elias with another promo from New York. This time from Maddison Square Garden. He says his rehearsals can sell out the MSG.

11. Baron Corbin vs Apollo Crews

Apollo rolls up Corbin three times in quick succession. He low bridges Corbin and takes him out with a moonsault before Corbin sends him into the ring post and then to the barricade. Back in the ring, Corbin gets a near fall. Crews counters a back body drop and follows it up with a kick, a step up enziguri and a frog splash off the top. But Corbin kicks out of the pin and hits the End of Days on Apollo to get the win.

12. Rollins wants to burn down the Suplex City!

Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring. He starts by saying that he and Brock Lesnar are not cut from the same cloth. And the way out of the WrestleMania will be forged by the Universal Champion whether it will be him or Lesnar. He says that the earlier champions like Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Bret Hart, Triple H, John Cena use to inspire people but Lesnar does not inspire people. He continues by mentioning that whoever he met during the autograph signing at Boston has asked him to beat Lesnar. He now gets how important it is to beat Lesnar and with the support of the people behind him, he will go to the Suplex City and burn it down… Paul Heyman interrupts.
He thanks Rollins to tell him that the Universal Championship match at WrestleMania is now a handicapped match- Brock Lesnar vs Seth Rollins and the entire WWE Universe. Paul Heyman then goes on to mock Rollins for asking for the thoughts and prayers from the fans. He asks Rollins to take it personally when he and the entire WWE Universe Champion loses to Brock Lesnar. Heyman was going back when Rollins chases him to the entrance. Heyman gets frightened and rolls down at the entrance. Rollins tells him that he is not asking for the thoughts and prayers but he is there to answer them and they will ‘BURN IT DOWN’. Mic Drop.

Angle enters as soon as Rollins went off. Paul Heyman is still on the floor near the entrance. Angle points towards him as the crowd chants, “You Suck!” Samoa Joe enters and cuts a promo where he says that he forgot to bring flowers for him but his goodbye to Angle is to put him to sleep, for one last time.

13. Kurt Angle vs Samoa Joe

Samoa starts with a headbutt and hits a snap suplex. He continues with some forearms before Angle goes for the German suplex. Joe denies him and kicks him in the back. He sends Angle out of the ring an takes him down with a plancha as we head to the break. Joe hits another punch on Angle before taking him to the corner. He continues with more punches before Angles hits the trio of German suplex(labored effort) to get a near fall. Joe counters the Angle Slam with a knock at the back of his head. He hits an atomic drop and Swanton to get a near fall. Angle counters in the corner to hit the Angle slam to get a near fall of his own again. Angle goes for the ankle lock but Joe counters and his a body slam. Angle counters with a missile dropkick but Joe finally puts him out in the coquina clutch. Angle was fading out but shocks Joe by putting him on the mat and get the pin.
Winner- Kurt Angle via pinfall
Samoa Joe is in utter shock with his loss.

14. Hunter Agrees to another Stipulation

Triple H congratulates Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey, and Charlotte Flair for main eventing WrestleMania 35, as well as every single woman Superstar from the past. Triple H shows a letter from Batista, which says that Batista will not be competing at WrestleMania 35 unless Triple H doesn’t agree to another stipulation. Triple H says that last week Bautista came to a big realization that he used Evolution to keep the World title around his waist. He reminds Bautista that when he came to Evolution, he was just a jobber alongside the Dudleys and when he went out by becoming the World Champion. He also believes that Hunter’s obsession with him after his 6 World Championship wins but he quit WWE after he was unable to beat John Cena in 2010. He mocked Bautista’s give me what I want tirade. He then mentioned that the letter says that Bautista wants him to put his career on the line for the match. Hunter tells that this is another attempt from Bautista to quit but he won’t let him quit. He never gave a crap about Batista and that he’s only obsessed with kicking Batista’s ass. Triple H agrees to Batista’s demand of putting Triple H’s career on the line at WrestleMania 35. If Batista wins, Triple H will have to retire from in-ring wrestling.


Elias is on the streets again and talking about how his great performance at WrestleMania. Somebody steals the money out of his guitar case, but he is okay with that since he is gonna make a lot more money at WrestleMania and leave no doubt in anyone’s mind that WWE stands for a walk with Elias. The guy comes back and steals his guitar case but he is busy playing and doesn’t notice.

15. Dean Ambrose vs Drew McIntyre – Last Man Standing Match

Ambrose goes on the attack immediately, but McIntyre counters with a few chops. Ambrose lands a kick and throws McIntyre out with an arm drag but McIntyre moves out of the Plancha off the top. McIntyre then crashes Dean’s back on the barricade as we head to the break.
Dean Ambrose headbutts McIntyre as we return from the break. As Dean goes for the double Axe handle, McIntyre hits him with the kendo stick in the mid-section. McIntyre goes on the outside where Dean takes him out with a suicide dive. McIntyre headbutts him and hits him with the steel steps. McIntyre takes the chair and puts it in between the turnbuckles. Ambrose counters the claymore kick to send McIntyre into the chair and hits the Dirty Deeds but McIntyre gets up at 7 counts. Dean brings the table inside the ring and McIntyre drives him through it. As Dean gets up at 8 counts, McIntyre hits him with the claymore kick and gets the win.
