Adam Cole has had a fantastic month in November. But his time is about to turn around as he will now face a daunting task of defending his NXT Championship. The task will be daunting because he will be facing any one of the superstars from Tommaso Ciampa, Keith Lee and Finn Bálor- each of whom has a great amount of momentum behind them.

Ciampa pinned Cole in the WarGames Match at NXT TakeOver: WarGames event. Keith Lee pinned the champion in a six-man tag team match last week at NXT. And Bálor had made his intentions clear when he returned to NXT in October itself that he will be coming after the title. If that was not enough, the Pele Kick to Cole a couple of weeks back, would have clarified. Who will get a crack at Adam Cole first?

Mia Yim vs Dakota Kai

Mia Yim was subjected to a backstage assault which took away the opportunity from her to make the history as she had to be pulled out from the first-ever Women’s WarGames match. And her attacker was none other than Dakota Kai, who also turned on her best friend Tegan Nox on the same night. Last week, Yim confronted Kai which led to a wild brawl between them and forced William Regal to book them in a match this week.

The heated rivalry between NXT Cruiserweight Champion Lio Rush and Angel Garza will continue when they battle for the title tonight on NXT. Their first title match championship, several weeks ago, ended with a controversial finish with Garza’s leg under the rope during the pin. Also, Garza taunted Rush’s wife and family in the crowd during that match which irked the champion.

Rush decided to warn Garza to keep his distance from her family and decked Garza backstage following his match at the NXT TakeOver: WarGames Pre-Show. Garza also tried to return the favor last week but was restrained from attacking Rush two weeks back. The tempers will rise once again as they will face off at NXT later tonight.

Is Rhea Ripley ready for Shayna Baszler?

Rhea Ripley was on a rampage ever since her return to NXT. She has had put Shayna Baszler on her toes and even pinned Baszler in the WarGames match. Her popularity kept rising with her showings during the invasion angles and getting the win at Survivor Series. Hence, she has perfectly placed her as the person to take away the NXT Women’s Championship title from Shayna Baszler. Or has she?

Last week’s beatdown from Shayna Baszler and her friends reminded us that Rhea Ripley will need a bit more as she will be battling not only against Baszler but also against her sidekicks. How will Rhea prepare for the title match next week?
