WWE RAW episode of April 4, 2022, will be the RAW after Mania edition of the show and will deal with the fallout from WrestleMania 38. Airing from American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX, the show will feature the return of Cody Rhodes.

WWE RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair will start her new title reign. More fallout storylines from WrestleMania 38 are expected along with a couple of surprises. Veer Mahan will finally arrive to RAW after months of teasing.

Cody on Live Mic!

The show opens with the recap video package from WrestleMania 38. Cody makes his entrance after the package. Huge cheers for his as he comes out. Cody takes time to soak in the moment and huge chants from the crowd.

Cody says it is 47 days since he became the free agent and many things were said since then. Everyone thinks that the decision to return to WWE was difficult. You deserve it chants break out. If there was any glimmer of doubt, it was cleared the moment he walked down in front of 70k people and defeated one of the best wrestlers of any generation in Seth Rollins.

Cody shows Dusty Rhodes’ pic from Madison Square Garden from 1977, holding a championship. Cody gets emotional as he says that while Dusty was known to everyone as many things, his father was a hero to him. He says the title Dusty is holding was held by Hulk Hogan, Undertaker, Triple H, and others. That pic was there on his mantle and one day he asked his father about the title. Dusty told him that he won via count-out, and he could not take the belt home.

Cody gets emotional as he talked about how he tried to pursue that title, but that dream also died. Or is it? Cody promises that while he can not physically put it in his father’s hands, he will put it on American Nightmare’s waist. “You Can Do It” chants. Cody says he is going to get the distinction that his family is denied for so long. And, he is going to do it for himself, his family, for fans, and for Dusty Rhodes.

Seth Rollins makes his entrance to interrupt him. He gets into the ring and dances circles around Cody while the fans sing his theme. He faces off with Cody. Cody throws the mic away and offers his hand to Cody. Seth shakes it and laughs hysterically. Seth says Welcome Home and walks back. Cody is a bit confused as Seth goes back.

Sasha Banks & Naomi vs Rhea Ripley & Liv Morgan – Women’s Tag Team Contender’s Match

Rhea and Naomi star the match. Rhea hits a headbutt and then holds Naomi up for a delayed vertical suplex for a long time before dumping her. Naomi fights back with elbows and superkick to tags in Sasha. Some quick double team attack from Naomi and Sasha. Liv breaks a cover on Rhea. Sasha pulls her out and hits a Meteora on the floor. Rhea drops Sasha with a clothesline. Noami hits a suicide dive on Rhea. Naomi gets back and Rhea also beats the count. Naomi gets a two count as we cut to a break.

Rhea is under control against Naomi as we return. Noami hits a springboard kick on Rhea. Tags to Sasha and Liv. Sasha hits a knee to the jaw, headscissors takedown, running knee and meteora in the corner. She hits a Meteora from the top rope for a close two-count. Liv rolls her up a couple of times before rocking her with an enziguiri. Rhea tags in for double team ally hoop into a powerbomb for a near fall. Liv misses a move. Naomi drops Liv to the floor. Sasha and Naomi drops Liv with a double team move to get the pin.

Winner – Sasha Banks & Naomi

After the match, Sasha and Noami celebrate on the ramp while Rhea recovers and realizes what happened. Rhea gets into the ring and looks very dissappointed. She gets in the ring, but leaves without saying anything to Liv.

Ezekiel

Owens walks out as we cut to a break. After the break, Owens says he made a mistake and underestimated Steve Austin, because Texas Rattlesnake is still great. You have to be greatest to beat Kevin Owens in WWE. Owens makes an excuse that he was suffering from a back injury and that’s why he lost the match. The crowd boos. Owens rants that he should have gone home, but he did it for the fans. He continues to rant until music hits.

Ezekiel(former Elias) walks down the ramp. He is in trunks and have a very different look. He gets into the ring and takes the mic. Owens asks why Elias is looking like this. Ezekiel says he is not Elias, but his younger brother Ezekiel. Owens keeps telling him that he is Elias. Ezekiel replies that he is Ezekiel, and says may be Owens is angry at himself. Owens says he uses to like Elias, then says it is a lie, and he never liked Elias.

Owens warns Ezekiel to leave the ring or else, and he has 10 seconds. Ezekiel stands his ground. Owens counts down. Ezekiel stands there until Owens is down to 1. Owens throws the mic and leaves the ring.

Dominik Mysterio vs The Miz

Dominik starts with elbows. He hits an armdrag from the top turnbuckle. Miz turns it around quickly and hits a Skull Crushing Finale for the pin and the win.

Winner – The Miz

After the match ends, Miz’s celebration is cut off by Veer Mahan’s entrance. Dominik was still recovering as Veer gets into the ring. Miz has slipped past to the floor. Veer attacks Dominik. Rey tries to attack him, but Veer hits him with a big lariat. He drops Rey once again before putting cervical clutch on Dominik. Dominik is tapping out, but Veer holds onto it for a while. Veer roars as the segment ends.


Bianca “Better” Beliar

WWE RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair comes out to the ring to take us to the break. She is in the ring with EST chants as we return. She thanks the fans for always believing in her and that is the reason why she is holding this title in her hands. She says without that 26 seconds defeat, she would not have realized she could be much better than her former else.

Bianca says she has been through hell and back. She adds that Becky was saying that she took everything away from Becky, but Becky proved that she was trying to take away everything from her. Becky tried to poke her, use her braids and more what not. The fans does not deserve Becky as the champ, so, she became better. And she is not losing this title now.

Dolph Ziggler(c) vs Bron Breakker – NXT Championship Match

Both men make their entrance. Ziggler slaps Breakker before the bell. The bell rings. Breakker picks up Ziggler and sends him into the corner. He hits a belly to belly suplex next. Ziggler suckers him by getting in and out of the ring and unloads on him. Ziggler rakes his knees on Breakker’s face.

Ziggler hits a kick to the face before Breakker responded with a spinebuster by catching Ziggler midair. Breakker flips Ziggler into the corner. Breakker takes Ziggler to the top. Ziggler slips out to drop Breakker on the top turnbuckle. He hits a dropkick to drop Breakker to the floor. We cut to a break.

Ziggler hits a dropkick as we return to get a two-count. Breakker comes back with a powerbomb. Ziggler goes for the zigzag but Breakker counters and drops him with a belly-to-belly suplex. Breakker hits a big clothesline. Roode runs a distraction and Ziggler attacks Breakker from behind. Breakker drops Ziggler before he hits Roode with a suicide dive. Ziggler catches him with fameasser as he returns to the ring and gets a near fall.

Ziggler was looking for a superkick. Breakker avoids it. Ziggler rakes his eyes and hits a superkick, but Breakker kicks out. Ziggler hypes up but is rocked with a spear. Breakker hits a military press powerslam and gets the pin.

Winner – Bron Breakker(new NXT Champion)

The Almighty Betrayal

MVP is in the ring. He introduces Bobby Lashley, whose actions spoke volumes at WrestleMania, who crushed the colossol. He brings out Lashley. Lashley gets huge cheers from the crowd. Lashley talks about how big Omos was. He says he thought he might have taken a challenge too tough this time. However, he knew he would have to capitalize on just one mistake, and that’s what happened.

Omos’ music hits and he comes out. Omos enters the ring and says that win was a fluke and he wants a rematch. Omos removes his shirt and throws it. Lashley also gets ready. MVP decks Lashley from behind. Omos picks up Lashley and drops him. MVP shouts at Lashley, “you don’t need me?” He instructs Omos to send Lashley to the corner and smash him. Omos follows the instruction by beating up Lashley in the corner.

Omos hits running elbows and splash in the corner. He celebrates with MVP after it.


We get the replay of Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley losing the tag match earlier. Liv comes to Rhea backstage. Rhea apologizes to Liv for leaving her in the ring after the match.


Carmella and Zelina Vega come out for a match. Before their opponents come out, Zelina takes the mic and tells Carmella that they lost the tag team titles because Carmella was so preoccupied with her marraige and being the most beautiful woman of WWE. Zelina calls Corey Graves a fool for marrying Carmella. Carmella takes the mic and replies that she was thinking of asking Zelina to be her bridesmaid, but now, she can be a flower girl. Zelina attacks Carmella, who rolls out of the ring and to the announce table. She gets in Corey’s lap as Zelina comes down. Carmella drops Zelina Vega and goes on to smooch Graves.

Randy Orton, Riddle & Finn Balor vs Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso & Austin Theory

Balor starts against Jimmy and drops him with a tackle. He knocks off Theory before another tackle on Jimmy. Theory tries to interfere and Jimmy takes down Balor. Balor rolls through and hits a dropkick. He tags in Riddle. Jimmy takes Riddle to his corner for some quick attack. Theory comes in and drops Riddle. Theory with knees to the midsection.

Austin whips Riddle to his corner. Riddle knocks off The Usos from the apron. Riddle hits quick moves on Theory. Theory moves to the floor. Riddle gets on the apron and Theory trips him to take us to a break.

Riddle rocks Jey with a big kick as we return. Orton gets a hot tag against Jimmy and drops him with clotheslines and a powerslam. Theory takes a blind tag, but gets dropped by Orton off the apron. Orton gets ready for the RKO, but Theory comes in and hits a dropkick on Orton. Balor kicks from the apron, but misses the Coup de Grace on him. Balor blocks The ATL and hits him with an elbow drop. Everyone starts to get involved now with big moves. Balor takes out Jey before Theory hits ATL on Balor for the pin.

Winner – Austin Theory & The Usos

Edge & Damian Priest

Edge is in the ring, in a black suit, as we return from the break. He said AJ would meet his end at WrestleMania, but he didn’t count on Priest showing up. Edge says Priest fought his inner self for too long Priest just like Edge did. He tried to be a good role model for fans, calling them sheeps and idiots. He brings out punishment for the guilty – Damian Priest.

Priest comes out, also in a black suit. Edge asks him what it was about his words that caused Priest to take back the reigns of his career in his hands. Priest says Edge has meant to him for a long time. Priest says he was lost weeks leading into WrestleMania, but when he heard Edge’s message, he felt like he was speaking directly to Priest directly. And that is why it was so easy to make the decision to pledge his loyalty to Edge.

Edge says they judged AJ at WrestleMania, and they will continue to pass judgement on anyone who challenges his message. Edge knows AJ is going to keep coming for him. But, AJ’s has to think of his family and his children, they need a father. AJ’s music interrupts them as he comes out. Priest comes to the ramp and AJ sends him in the crowd.

AJ sends Edge into the ring post and brings in steel chairs for con-chair-to. Priest attacks him in the ring. Edge recovers and hits AJ with a spear as Priest holds him. They look for con-chair-to but WWE officials come out to save AJ.

The Street Profits(Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) vs Alpha Academy(Otis & Chad Gable) – Texas Tornado Tag Team Match

The Street Profits make their entrance. Alpha Academy come out and attack The Profits from behind. Adam Pearce comes out to the stage and says they all wanted to fight at once, all they had to do was ask him. He announces a Texas Tornado Tag Team Match. The bell rings. Dawkins and Otis go down to the floor. Ford hits a back body drop to send Gable to the floor. Ford hits a suicide dive over the ring post.

The Profits hits Gable with a double suplex in the ring. Otis gets in and hits big blows on both opponents. Gable hits with a Fisherman’s suplex on Ford to get two-count. Otis and Dawkins fight in the ring. Gable takes Dawkins’ knee out. Dawkins fights back and tackles Gable. Otis saves Gable. Otis hits a splash on Ford. We cut to a break.

Back from the break, Gable hits moonsault on Ford followed but Otis’ hits Vader Bomb. Otis brings out a table. Gable sets up Dawkins on the table. Gable decks Ford to the floor and Dawkins jumps up from the table to sends Otis to the floor. Dawkins sends Otis into the steel steps. Ford gets to the top but Gable stops his move. He moves the table away. Gable joins him to the top, but Ford stops a superplex. Ford nails Gable and drops him to the mat. Gable is setup on the table and Ford hits a Frogsplash to put Gable through the table for the pin.

Winner – The Street Profits

The Progressive Tribal Cheif

Roman Reigns comes out with The Usos, and Paul Heyman. Heyman hands him both the belts at the stage and he raises him as the pyro goes off. They all head to the ring now. The pyro goes off one more time when they get into the ring and Roman raises both the titles again. Reigns takes the mic from Heyman and asks Heyman to explain The Bloodline’s success. Heyman talks about The Usos’ title reigns and Roman’s various milestones as champion.

Heyman ends it by saying that Reigns is the single-handedly biggest star in sports entertainment. The fans chant for Roman as he takes the mic again. He says what’s good for Reigns is good for WWE, as billion dollar deals are coming in with him as The Head of The Table. He says he is the last real needle-mover since he is operating at God Mode. But, he is so much more than that. He then goes on to say he has delivered when he said he would smash Brock Lesnar.

Reigns says others would hang their hat after this weekend but not him because he is never content. He is a progressive Tribal Chief and will be constantly on the move. He will reveal his next move is on this Friday’s SmackDown. Until then, Dallas need to acknowledge him. Fans pop as Roman stands tall in the ring and the show goes off the air.
